Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that uses tiny needles and radiofrequency waves to rejuvenate the skin. RF provides heat that stimulates collagen production which has been found to lead to a tighter, more youthful appearance. Treatments are not just limited to the face.  Microneedling combined with RF induces a form of controlled skin injury, which stimulates the growth of healthy, new skin. It is very effective treatment for common skin issues like acne scars, wrinkles, and loose, crepey skin.

Typically, a numbing cream is applied 30 to 40 minutes prior to your treatment to provide a comfortable experience throughout the treatment. You may feel some light pressure that tells you the device is doing its work, but most people find the treatment to be comfortable, or even pain-free. The Vivace Ultra™ technology was designed to optimize patient comfort and minimalize downtime.

RF Microneedling is quite safe, but there are some risks and potential side effects that can occur. These may include infection, hyperpigmentation of the skin, bruising, and swelling.

We recommend 3 to 4 treatments, spaced approximately 4 to 6 weeks apart. This treatment regimen provides you with an optimal experience. While the results are often immediate for skin tone and texture, you will also continue to see improvement over a three-month period as the process of collagen regeneration increases over time.

We supplement each treatment with hydrating and recovery serums to optimize your results and recovery, reducing your overall downtime.  By using the right products, our patients are typically ready for a night out, with very little to no indication of any treatment performed that day.

Yes, hydration plays a vital part in the skin’s recovery. Plan on drinking water regularly for the first few days post treatment.  We  recommended drinking at least eight 8 oz. glasses (for a minimum of 64 oz.) of water per day.

Follow our recommended recovery protocols once you get home. Additionally, minimize your exposure to the sun and schedule a series of treatments to maximize the Vivace Experience®.

Everyone is different! The resulting collagen growth is your own and will continue an accelerated production over three-month time period. You will continue to see the results improve over this time. How you care for your skin afterwards will directly impact your results. It is important to maintain a good skincare routine and minimize UV exposure.

No. We recommend that you do not swim, soak in spas, or use the bathtub for at least 48 hours after treatment. Cool or tepid showers are okay after 12 hours.
